What about that girl and guy from "The Magic Man" by Heart? They were a couple. Probably. Maybe.

Nope can't read.

This is for the Frankie and Johnny video on the 1st page.

It tells the story of a woman, Frankie, who finds that her man Johnny was making love to another woman and shoots him dead. Frankie is then arrested; in some versions of the song she is also executed.

Bonnie and Clyde - does this really need and explanation

The story is explicitly told in the video, however it is about a couple in love, but it's a helluva love

Yes, I looked up the lyrics to Frankie & Johnny, not being familiar with it. I actually learned that it was originally based on a true story in the late 1800s. A 22 year old woman named Frankie killed her 17 year old (yes, 17!!!) boyfriend for cheating on her.

I didn't realize there were so few "story of a couple" songs. I don't know anything about country music, but I kind of figured there would be tons in that genre!

I wish people would stop just posting videos. It's kind of lazy really. We don't want to listen to the songs, just have you tell us a summary of the couple's story. It won't kill you to type a few lines people.

Bob Dylan got into trouble with that song and the album Frankie and Johnny was on and it followed him all his life and even makes a reference to 'Frankie and Johnny" in a cemetary in one of his more recent songs.
