It is definitely the end of a song. Often the final notes of a song are missing from my memory, because the radio DJ always used to cut off the end of the song. Also, if I knew the end of the song was nothing special, I might flip to another station to find a better tune. That means those final notes don't get burned into my brain nearly as well as the body of a song. Same thing if the song has something inconsequential at the beginning which does not match the main body of the song, which also got cut off by the DJ and therefore not as well etched in my musical subconscious. I thought Crown was pretty sharp to get That Derek & The Dominos one a few pages back, song endings are tricky if the ending has no special qualities about it, or isn't something unique to a particular artist or song.
