I'm listening to a CD I burned at home for use in the car and at work. Right now -- You Wanna Make A Memory, Bon Jovi. I love this song. I love how it builds to this big harmonious climax. Great song (IMO).

I do have to add that, also on this CD, is The Partridge Family's "Point Me In the Direction of Albuquerque"!!!! I know, I know. Don't say it.

Thumbs up TSO's Non-Christmas CD - Beethoven's Last Night

"I'll Keep Your Secrets," from Trans-Siberian Orchestra's (TSO), Beethoven's Last Night. Patti Russo, who sings with Meatloaf, on vocals.

If you like TSO, but have been avoiding the Beethoven CD because it is too classical, they play about 30-40% of it in the second half of the show. You'll be pleasantly surprised, I think.

Thanks for that! I'm a fan of TSO's Christmas music, so I'm sure I'll like this.

Certainly. It is an album about what may have happened as Beethoven lost his hearing. He deals with his "demons," has friends who stand by him, reflects on his abusive childhood and then makes his decisions.

Like everything else Paul O'Neill writes, it is as deep as one wants it to be. The vocals are very strong. I'm in the west so each time I hear Figuro, I think of Angus Clark and Anna Phoebe running up the stadium stairs and back down as rapidly as they can, playing the entire time. If you have seen then, prior to the changes this last year, then you know how superb they are, especially when they play as the lift at the back stage is raising them in the air and they go automatically into another song on this CD.

Try it, I think you'll like it.
