Sounds like you don't really like classic rock much either.

I grew up in the 70's. Love classic rock except for the songs that "Classic Rock" Stations have driven into the ground. Add "More than a Feeling" by Boston to the list

Somebody probably already posted it, but I hate that horrible "Hey Ya" song, don't know who it's by. Also, really HATED a lot of '80's music (and I was pretty young then to). We went from some great rock music in the '70's to "Safety Dance" "Our House" and junk like that!

The problem with the classic rock stations, is that they always play THE SAME SONG from whichever artist they're spinning - If it's Boston, they ALWAYS play More than a Feeling, if it's Journey, they ALWAYS play Don't Stop Believing, if it's Heart, they ALWAYS play Barricuda, Lynard Skynard "Freebird" and so on. Come on, all these artists had a wealth of great music, play something besides the same "signature" song all the time! Irrirating.

From the 60s: In the Year 2525. What a dreary song that never should have gotten air play.

Exactly montanamom! I wonder if they are only allowed to play certain songs? Anyone know?

I love The Pretenders but if I hear 'Brass in Pocket' one more time... I would love for them to play 'Precious' every once in awhile.

I used to work in radio and basically the program director can play whatever he wants,he makes the songlists most often. It's just some of them are robots and have no creativity Utilize the request options when you can!

As far as the Pretenders...Message of Love,Middle of the Road,My City Was Gone are all good songs also.

Wow, if these djs are allowed to play what ever they want and they keep playing the same old songs continually then they all need to be fired! lol.

More Pretenders tunes I never hear are 'The Phone Call', 'Up The Neck'
