Why is this song great? Because this is the song of collapse of the Soviet empire. And song have little joy, but a lot of rage and sadness (for various reasons).
Sector Gaza. One of the most interesting rock/folk punk band in Russia of the 90s (I once wrote about it, but of course everything was lost).
I found one of their most interesting works on YouTube. I think this is one of the most taboo pieces of music in Russia (if we do not take politics, Nazism and other things prohibited by law). Almost everyone listened to it, but few people admit it .
Now it seems naive and not very interesting, but for the Soviet people in 1994 it was a bomb. Music from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ace of Base, Anthrax, Queen, AC/DC, Nirvana and fragments of the suite by M. P. Mussorgsky between songs.
Perhaps it may come in handy for someone to study Russian profanity and obscene expressions in live speech . This is done very simply, but very funny and cool.
