I was in a band where we all had rap nicknames--mine was MC Square.
I wanted to name a fledgling rockabilly band I was in Lecherous Jim Nasium and the Flying Sphincters but my bandmates changed it to Slim Jim Nasium and the Plumbers. I was also in a band called the Butchers -- we did punk covers of reggae songs and reggae covers of punk songs (strictly a party band -- I can't understand why we never got paying gigs ) and I was in a punk band called Vlad and the Impalers -- I guess we were proto-goth. The rest of the bands I was in had pretty pedestrian names (Astrix being the worst -- I always refered to the band as Anus).
