That song is catchy as hell. It should have been huge. They enjoyed some success but I agree, kind of odd they weren't bigger. The problem was 1983, when eMpTyVee began gorging on the likes of Thompson Twins, Cyndi Lauper, Berlin and Depeche Mode, etc. Apart from the legacy metal bands, rock was to take a back seat for a few years.

^Susan McLane's vocals are hilarious. She formed a follow-up band simply called The Lawns after SL folded. She was also a Berklee alum and recorded a modern classical piano album in 1984.

Obscure, indeed!
