The reason for this next song...I love any and all Hendrix. Nice cover! This one is for, "...anyone with any kind of hearts and ears."

Thanks Saucy,
It still breaks my heart to hear and see jimi play. Its really far out to see him Jamming on every ones guitar (playing upside down and backwards). Beer ,ciggs, cool clothes, chicks, and guitars.... Heaven

How about a little Sunday humor? I love this! A few of you here might know that the Saucy Wench has a fondness for pirates and swashbucklers.

Since we have so many Jimi fans, here's one that makes my hair stand on end and really showed his talent - he didn't have to sing a word; just play his strat. What a waste. Sigh

PS A little note from the poster of the vid so non-Hendrix fans 'understand' why he played it the way he did: "Jimi Hendrix played a dramatic virtuoso rendition of The Star Spangled Banner on a screeching electric guitar that simulated the sounds of bombs dropping, explosions blasting, and machine guns firing, combined with the melody line of Americas national anthem presented as an avante-garde work"

^Yes, I'm so glad his manager wasn't able to talk him out of playing it that day. The machine gun guitar gives me chills. Sublime!!!

Well, Rugged has to throw a few more in. The live Woodstock improvisation is a masterpiece that demonstrates his talent. For the non guitar players, he is playing lead and rhythm at the same time. He uses his thumb to fret low/bass notes and his fingers to fret high/lead notes. I remember the first time I saw this and was mesmerized. I also want to include Kenny, because at 32 he is already very-very good and will only get better. He is one of the next generation of guitarists, guitarists. Rugged
