As far as psychedelic music the Elephant 6 Arts Collective have been making great psych tunes for 15 years. The Elephant Six Recording Company
You don't have to be interested! But it is most certainly not nonsense and it is as close to psychadelic hippie music as you are going to get nowadays. The freaking Dead still play at jam band shows and festivals, and these musicians are getting younger generations interested in the older music!
