Big Lots in Conway has some discount food items but other than that, never heard of any grocery stores. A lot of people move here thinking everything is cheaper but in reality the only things less expensive are property taxes, car insurance and thats only if you're coming from a metro area. I find food to be more expensive here plus I'm used to not paying taxes on clothes and I believe it's like 8% sales tax on clothes. If you find a good discount place, please share. Thanks!

Thanks, I know about Big Lots,Family Dollar, Dollar General, and dollar tree. The stores I mentioned are discount grocery stores. They have alot of store brand/generic items and some name brand items but are alot less than traditional grocery stores. They are smaller in size but have most of the groceries that you need.
I absolutely LOVE Aldi's!!!! I'm up in NY now, might do an Aldi's run before I drive back. You "rent" your shopping cart for a quarter outside the store and to get your quarter back you need to return it. You also bag your own groceries. They carry everything you might need on a normal shopping trip. If you need a specialty item they might not have that, but all your basic grocery items are there for much less than a regular store.
