We own a condo in a beautiful gated community in Naples but are considering moving to a single family home. We have looked in the Estates and really like many of the areas and homes. But before we decide, we are wondering if there are any other areas/communities in Naples with single family homes where you have some privacy. We don't want to live in an area where you can see into your neighbor's house (or they can see into yours). A place where there is room between the houses, or perhaps the houses somewhat staggered on the lots would be ideal. And we must be able to have a private pool. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I don't know anywhere that meets that criteria except the zillion dollar Port Royal area and GGE. You might look at the streets off Immokalee Road in Corkscrew but that is the same area as GGE more or less.

I drive on Oakes Blvd, just south of Immokalee Rd on occasion; it seems to me there are some ok to really nice SFHs in that area, esp off the several no outlet streets. Don't appear to be staggered, bu decent size lots and many appear to be full foliage for more privacy. No idea of pricing or 'how things are there', or if it has an area name.

It is a reasonable quest, that we talk about also on occasion, when we get tired regularly of living on our golf course here.

Thanks MotorDavid,
Think we'll take a drive up there and have a look-see.

I've got to agree with motordavid, I think that you best bet would be around Oakes Blvd or on Logan they are not to far out and are pretty safe . The lots are a nice size and the homes are fairly reasonable compared with the rest of Naples. I hope you find your perfect home, Good luck

Also check off Weber and the streets off 951 between Vanderbilt Beach Rd and Pine Ridge.

No problem..... We've lived on 5 acres in the Vanderbilt/951 area for 14 years now, and just love it. We live in the woods, but I can ride my bike to Sweetbay in under 10 minutes.
