I am looking for some advice. My daughter will be moving to Tennessee and wants to find a great place to live between Clarksville and Nashville. She will be newly married. She loves an area where there is lots to do. We are from Canada, so it is challenging to know what areas to look it. I look forward to getting some advice.

Default Oh, Canada...

...dgrace's home and native land. Come post on the Nashville board and you might get better responses. Ok ,eh?

Sorry, couldn't resist to not use the "eh".

I don't know much about that particular area, but I'll try to start.

First, obviously, the closer to the Nashville, your daughter will have more to do.

The whole area is growing (See the link in one of my posts about Nashville's growth) so more and more neighborhoods are being built everywhere. With the growth, the commute time will probably increase in to Nashville. So, keep that in mind the closer you get to Clarksville.

I do know about Coopertown which is a bedroom community with an infamous ex-mayor. Joelton is the rural part of Nashville/Davidson County. I do not know much about Pleasant View, but I think there is a relatively new high school there due to the growth in the area.

There really is not an established suburb or small town (someone correct me if I am wrong) in this area between Nashville and Clarksville. Every other direction from Nashville off the Interstates, has established suburbs and small towns.

Is she only looking at the Nashville to Clarksville corridor?
