My husband and I have 2 small children and were wondering if anyone had an idea of the "feel' of Mount Juliet? We will be relocating from NH/MA to the nashville area. I have read, on this forum, about Franklin, Hendersonville, Gallatin. He would be commuting to Vanderbilt. Good schools are a must. Thanks for all your help!

Mt Juliet is just a lot of sprawl; if thats what you like then you will fit in perfectly. There is no real downtown or central area. There is lots of traffic due to growth. Mt juliet just like all of wilson county has good schools. Sumner, Rutherford, and Wilson all have about the same quality schools.

I would like a plot of land...with a house...maybe an acre or two...room for a nice garden and some room to have some privacy...a jacuzzi on our back deck...space from our direct neighbors. Don't get me wrong...I love socializing, but I also treasure my private time.
