Is there a good location around Smyrna/Murfreesboro for pictures? Somewhere trees or flowers are around, a pretty background...I like to take pictures of my daughter and I don't really know of a good place around here.

I just went back home last weekend and we took some pictures in the cotton field...here is an example.

That's a great picture!

I took a bunch of photos at Stones River Battlefield in college...that's a great place especially early in the morning or at sunset. MTSU has some pretty landscaping as well and there are some cool modern art pieces around campus too. Seems like I recall there being some sort of outdoor astronomy exhibit just south of Peck Hall betweek PH and the administration building. I never did see what it was, but it looked cool. I'd also check out The Oaklands mansion which is right off of the square. There's a very long drive in front of the home that might make for a good backdrop. I'm sure it's probably landscaped well too. It's been awhile since I went there.

Hope that helps.

The greenway in Murfreesboro has a little river running through it and has some great spots with rocks, wooden railways on it. A friend of mine who is a wedding photographer frequently uses the spots that run from Thompson Lane trailhead to Fortress Rosecrans. There is also a playground at Cason Lane trailhead that could be another cute photo op.
