Hit me with your favorites, please. I would love to get out and experience some new restaurants. I feel like I'm always eating at the same places, and would love to check out something new.

If there's a "must try" in another middle TN city, post away!

Thank you kindly!!

Thanks! Haven't tried any of these, or Mack & Kate's! I'm sheltered apparently! LOL!

Most of mine are fairly casual, walk-in places, some only open during the day.

Wild Iris would be a nice date night. Great wine list. Kalamata's has live music sometimes.

Also Mere Bulles in Maryland Farms is very nice, esp. the She-Crab Bisque.

I love Mack & Kate's and Kalamatas. And Mere Bulles is fabulous and much cheaper at lunch.
Sperry's has a good Sunday brunch. I would also add: Local Taco, Puffy Muffin (only open breakfast & lunch), Sopapillas, Brick's Cafe (not to be confused with the chain Brixx, which is also good and has a great selection of beer). And our favorite pizza place is Cool Springs Brewery.
