Hello!

I'm moving to Nashville to pursue a career in Country music (singer/lyricist). What is a safe part of town for a single woman? I have a small dog that will move with me. I like to walk her early morning and at night so I'd want to make sure I was in a decent neighborhood. Thanks in advance for your answers

What is your rental budget? One bedroom? Lots of people seem to be moving here this year . . maybe they are watching Nashville on TV?? But rentals are tight right now. And do you need to live right IN Nashville or do you mind being say, a half hour away? Where are you moving from, if you don't mind me asking? Lots of transplants on the board . . .

Lots and lots of questions here...CG2B touched on a few of them.

-What is your budget?
-What type of residence are you looking for? House, townhouse, apartment, etc.
-Do you want to live close to town, out in the suburbs, or even in a more rural area?
--(if you say close to town) Are you interested in a more urban, or more suburban type of neighborhood?
--Would you be comfortable living in an area where there are very few African Americans, or would you prefer somewhere that has a decent mix of diversity?
-How important is it for you to live near other musicians/artists?
--What type of Country Music do you sing or are you interested in? Traditional, contemporary/pop, or even Americana or something on the "fringes" of Country?
