I live in Cottontown and am having trouble find certain foods. I love to use Italian sausage (hot, mild, rings with cheese inside) and also fresh and smoked Kielbasa.

Does anyone know of anywhere I could go to buy these items? I don't mind even if it's in Nashville, etc. since I do miss these favorites. Thanks.

Well, the Publix I go to in Nashville has those, but I can't remember a larger grocery store that didn't have them (Italian sausage and Kielbasa isn't that uncommon). I'm surprised you can find it even in Cottontown.

I actually had to go down to Hendersonville to find a good selection of fresh fish. I checked all the supermarkets (grocery stores) in White House and there is no fresh sausage (italian or polish). Yesterday I went to buy pizza dough and it's not there either. I guess I'm still missing the north. I've only lived here 3 months so I only find out what I'm missing when I go food shopping and it's not there.

Here in Hendersonville I find Italian Sausage and Kielbasa in all the grocery stores. What I do have trouble finding are canned whole green chilis.......and 'good' Mexican food.

There's a number of small Hispanic markets in Nashville these days. I can't tell you which ones are good since I don't shop there. I would bet even a grocery store in one of the areas with a large Hispanic population would have what you need.

Lake.Lady, La Hacienda Market on Nolensville Rd. has what you are looking for as well as a lot of other authentic mexican foods. Enjoy!

Thanks Lady Lake. I go to the Key to the City Newcomers club in Hendersonville. I'll have to check out the supermarkets at the next luncheon I go to.
