I'm from Kansas City and I was researching some areas where waiters can make some serious cash, and I've heard great things about Nashville. I also have Texas in mind but I have about two years to do my research on what I need to consider when moving. I've also been seeing Nashville getting more expensive. Is it possible for me to move to Nashville being in the restaurant business? If so, what should I plan for?

This is really vague on specifics but yeah you can do it in the service industry depending on where you work. Not much different than any other city in that respect.

Nashville is more expensive than Kansas City. It's best to visit the city first before you decide to move.

You could probably do it with a roommate. Ive had friends who were waiters and a few of them make decent money depending on where they work.

Nashville is more expensive than KC as others have mentioned. It'd be a good idea to do a little research on housing and jobs before you make the move.
