Hi, hubby and I may be heading down to Mount Juliet next weekend to check out the area and look at some homes. Can anyone suggest a hotel? We prefer to stay in town. Thanks for your help in advance!

There are three in Mt. Juliet proper, all around the I-40/Mt. Juliet Road interchange:

Hampton Suites
Holiday Inn Express
Quality Inn & Suites (formerly a Microtel)

The first two are new. The Quality Inn has been around for awhile and it's where my folks have usually stayed when they come to visit, and they probably will continue to stay there since it's considerably cheaper than the other two.

If none of those are available or suitable, you can go east or west on I-40 and find several alternatives within 10-12 miles.

Default Hotels in Mt. Juliet

Are you looking at homes in the Lake Providence area (Del Webb active-adult community)? If so, I would really appreciate your feedback as we plan on visiting the area within the next couple of months for a possible retirement site.

Based on some initial research I have done, the Holiday Inn Express has received some excellent reviews.

We ended up at the Quality Inn twice, 2008 and 2009. You really can't go wrong with any of the hotels in Mount Juliet. All were in great area and very clean.

We did look at some homes in the Providence area, sorry not Del Webb, we didn't qualify. (age) :-) The community seems very nice. Our choices were Horseshoe Cove and Silver Springs. We're still comtemplating whether to move or not.
