We wouldn't have to live in Smyrna...just somewhere within 15 or 20 minutes. Any recommendations? Tomorrow will be our last chance to decide if my husband will apply for the job. He really wants to. I am nervous because it is 8+ hours away, and I have to finish out my teaching contract here in SW Missouri, so I couldn't move until June. But we shall see!

I seriously think you need to check out Murfreesboro.

I second Murfreesboro. It's a really nice town/small city. There is nothing you will want for here. It's not very far from Smyrna either. The drive should be pretty easy.

Hello all. New to Smyrna and searching for a general practice physician, dentist and veterinarian. Any help and recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

GSpeed, I am also planning to move to Smyrna soon. How do you like it so far? Is it what you expected it?

My shelter dog got neutered at Premiere Vetcare in Smyrna, just off Sam Ridley. We haven't been back since, but everything was fine with that procedure. It's where Rutherford County PAWS sent him to as we were adopting him. I'm just thinking that if the shelter sends dogs there in large numbers it must be a decent place. They seem to have good reviews online as well.

Here's the info:
Premier Vetcare‎
10579 Cedar Grove Rd # 190, Smyrna, TN‎ - (615) 459-0802‎

My mother had her 2 cats spayed and neutered (1 female and 1 male) there and all went very well. They were adopted from PAWS too. Great location too...right near Stonecrest Medical Center off Sam Ridley.

Thank you for your replys. I do appreciate the recommendations regarding Premiere Vetcare. Gettingaway, I have to say, I'm enjoying Smyrna very much. It's not too rural or urban. Somewhere in the middle. To answer the question "Is it what you expected it?", I'd say yes. A much slower pace than what I'm used to. A pleasent change however.
Again, thanks for taking the time to reply!
