My boyfriend and I are moving to Nashville, from the Sevierville area, at the end of the month. We have been looking at apartments off of Old Hickory Boulevard between Edmondson Pike and Nolensville Pike. The apartment complexes all seemed fairly nice. I did notice that everything west of Nolensville Pike seemed a bit nicer. Is this generally a safe area?
I've been lurking for a couple days now. Many of the posts have been helpful! I live in East Tennessee now, but I'm originally from Michigan and a bit more of a city girl. So, obviously, Nashville is somewhat more refreshing to me than Knoxville. I've been plenty of times to escape, and I can't wait to call it home!

you will want to stay as close to Edmondson Pike as possible vs the ones closer to Nolensville Road. The ones closer to Nolensville Road tend to have more transient residents, they are older, appeal to more immigrants and also have more crime. Hope this helps.
