Yeah, that's good advice for sure. I have gone down there with the wife before and been sorry when we got back to the car.... LOL!

Fortunately for me she isn't a big spender when it comes to shopping, and especially shoes. She is just looking for a way to kill some time. Thanks for the help so far. Any other ideas.

Drop her off at the opryland hotel. Lots of things to do there and food too. We visited a timeshare in Nashville and found a way to walk to this hotel from the shopping center next door. We didn't have to pay for parking or anything, since we parked near the back entrance in the shopping center parking lot. They have a paid parking lot that was about the same distance as the free one we used. We spent about two days inside the shopping area of the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have difficulty walking too far, so my husband would drop me off and then park the car and walk to where I was. You need to agree in advance how to get back together. This place is huge.

She might as well enjoy the downtown area if your already there. The Frist Center always has some interesting shows and displays to see. Just head on Broadway toward West End and it's to the left next to Union Station. Frist Center for the Visual Arts - Nashville, Tennessee. Demos Steak and Spaghetti is downtown and it's the original one and not too expensive.
