I'm currently looking at a rental house in the Sylvan Heights area. Specifically, 35th ave. Just wondering about the safety of this area and any other info anyone may have. Thanks!

I don't think a lot of people post on here post from them Sylvan Heights area (not sure why). I know there are some new modern looking buildings (very expensive looking) perched on the hill above 440 facing the skyline in that vicinity. Not sure about crime in the area. I would suggest a dog and an alarm system, especially if you are going to live alone, wherever you lived.

Sylvan Heights is basically the "wrong side of the tracks" from Sylvan Park. Literally, they are separated by a set of railroad tracks. You could do a LOT worse, but you could probably do better, too.
