Yes, great ending.....but, ....um, do you think two male cops would have taken the same time and effort that the female cops did? That was the first thing I thought about and I hope I'm wrong, but I'm guessing the ending would not have been such a happy one, sorry to be the Debbie downer on this one. NK, I love the stories and clips you post - you are a woman after my own heart where animals are concerned!!!
What an insult. Maybe male cops wouldn't save ducklings where you come from, but here on planet Earth, that's precisely what many male cops have done and will gladly do again and again.

Indeed the chickadees, towhees, & wrens that I feed in my yard are far more intelligent than most Democrats that I meet. They are a calculus machine. The wren will wake me up by chirping outside my window; she's got it all sussed out.
