You are right...as a kid and a younger adult I was all over the park nearly every single weekend in the summer months and I can tell you from first hand experience,those rumblings and grumblings are quite eerie feeling compared to quakes I've been in in other areas of the country.*Downright spooky feeling and weird noises accompanied them too that sounded like they were coming from the pits of hell*.
