Since we are thinking about moving to this area we want to know how bad the meth problem is in this area?
Also how bad are the building code officers?

Meth has become a problem all over the country, particularly in the west. You can't get too far away from it....

Meth is not as big a problem in Pahrump as dust is.

Help me out here, why would the existence or non existence of certain drugs affect a decision to move to a town?

Default greatbasingguide

I don't want to move to an area with a lot of meth users because they steal any and every thing that crosses their path to get money to buy drugs. They will even steal the fictures out of bathrooms to sell, garden equipment including garbage cans and hoses that aren't chained down

Most of Pahrump is pretty low density and pretty cowboy. Stealing stuff will get you shot at pretty much no questions asked. Most places I have been they are obviously not very worried about it.

You just described how addicts are that are also addicted to heroine, crack, etc. An addict is an addict, doesn't matter what their drug of choice is, they will borrow beg and steal to feed that habit. Trust me, that behavior is not found only in meth users.

Guess everywhere is unavailable, since meth and other addictions are found everywhere.

we are thinking of moving to your city and do not want to be around or incounter people that use or sell. I was a police officer for years and have had my fill of dealing with the problems it causes and the way it can degrade a community.
