My family and I (two girls 4 and 1 1/2) are thinking about spending the day in Portsmouth and then camping for a night or two. We would like something close or on our way back home, we live near Hartford CT, and we don't mind making a detour If it's not too far. I would like a more secluded camp site with some nice trails (nothing too challenging because of the kids but we do have an "off road stroller" so beginner level is fine), swimming and/or waterfalls, horseback riding, etc. pretty much stuff to pass the time for them. Oh and possibly a remote cabin would be nice too.
