That is true. The four towns with the lowest tax rates in central NH are Bridgewater, Hebron, Tuftonboro, and Moultonboro. One can still find more affordable property further away from water and benefit from the low tax rate as the land area in all four towns is fairly large.

I'm just happy that Greenville has, as I expected, has indeed dropped their tax rate back to $17+ - partway between the 2006 & the 2007 rates. See? taxes actually can go down!
