I haven't heard anyone mention this lately so....The 16th annual Keene Pumpkin Festival will be back in full force today, Saturday, Oct. 20 and it looks like the weather will be fine to enjoy the occasion.
I walked down last night night when they were setting up and everyone was bring in some pumpkins.. I'm gonna walk down today at about 11 ish for the costume parade then tonight for the lighting ..Here's some pics of yesterday afternoon and then night I took..
boy you know I haven't heard any news on how we're doing... The pumpkins keep fillin in though, all day people were bring em in... Maybe tonight they'll announce something.. I'm about ready to head out now , gonna go back down and eat some food thats horribly bad for me, and complain I'm fat till my husband rolls his eyes lol!! And I got myself a little bobble head band just to embarass him for all those times he passes gas in malls or theaters and looks at me like he didn't do it.. Now its go time for me!!

.. Haa thanks suzet I had dunkin doughnuts..You know how it goes, "When in New England......" .I'm making a video of all the pics and stuff so keep an eye out for it!
I have been wanting to get back to Keene ever since I saw it 3 years ago. I have since moved the NC and they don't have anything remotly like this here! I was trying to describe it to my Fiance and he couldn't visualize so many pumpkins. Keep the photos coming!
We made it to the festival today. The drive there was great with some peaking fall colors on 101 and route 9! Here are two shots from today.
