Hi,
I would love to get some recommendations for a mechanic/auto shop.

One of our cars is '97 and I would like to bring to someone who understands that I am not going to start to change every part on it, but would just like to keep it running and pass inspections.

The second car is fairly new, so I need a shop that knows how to deal with all those "modern days" electronics.

Both cars are Japanese.

I am in Southern NH.

Thank you much!!!

I strongly recommend LBP Towing at 5 Auburn Road (behind Poor Boy's Restaurant) along Rt. 28 just East of Exit 5 on I-93 in North Londonderry. Ask for Mike or Jim and say I sent you. These guys do unnecessary work but do excellent work and charge reasonable rates. I have been taking my clunkers there for a couple of decades.

Walkers Automotive in Wilmot is probably too far away, but those guys are great.

I misspoke. They do NOT recommend or DO unnecessary work. They do good work at reasonable prices.

One of the jobs they did for me was to replace an almost inaccessible fitting on the passenger end of my Buick's engine for a couple of hours labor. When I looked at the location, access was through the right wheel well, I was amazed that the job could be done without removing the engine.

We've had good luck at Sullivan Tire in Nashua.
