This kind of nonsense would never get on the floor when the old NHGOP was running the house & senate. The new NHGOP is hopeless.

Teens can't buy ciggies or booze though so I guess I'm not to upset about this especially since tanning is a terrible thing to do.

The GOP as a whole is hopeless and no different from the Dems when it comes to wanting to control everything and take more $$$$.

In Arizona a couple was found guilty of child neglect for allowing their children to walk a mile in daylight without "adult" supervision.. This stupid tanning bill is a step further into a nanny state and is an affront to parental rights.

Parental "rights" do not include putting your kids in danger. These children were very young. No parent in their right mind would would allow their young kids to walk along the road alone. Kids walking alone are snatched every day.
Kids are left in cars on hot days, trapped in a burning building, drowning in a pool or at the beach, etc., all because the parents aren't watching over them. If the parents won't put the welfare of their kids before their own selfish "look at me, I'm so progressive I let my kids do whatever they want" attitude, then it's up to every one of us to step in and do the job.

At this point it would be best if the GOP went the way of the Whig Party.

Kids walking alone? What a shock. I was walking alone when I was 6 or so. I was warned to avoid Rt 20 in upstate NY but I had free range of all the rest of the streets in a radius of about 2 miles of so. I thank the gods that my parents, when I was not doing chores or working the amusement park, neglected me. My axiom was what they don't see won't hurt me.

Tanning beds should be labeled like tobacco products with a cancer warning. Tanning is not good for your skin. Get your vitamin D from a pill.

BS. the six year old was being walked by an older ten year old a mile or less..please We used to go from Lake Ave to Crystal Lake ..all the time beginning at age eight.. heres a clue LIFE is danger but the most dangerous thing of all is handing your freedom over to government in hopes that they will keep you safe. they won't ( kids in the care of "authorities are raped by those authorities everyday ) and you lost your freedom in the process
