Good Luck!
Good call. We got married here. Only real issue is the wedding party has to be out by 5:30. We just moved it to another location. Great prices on food. We had chicken stuffed with lobster for $16 pp. That included everything including serving our cake. Of course that was 10 years ago. Oh ya, you really can't fit more than 100 people.

I'm getting married this summer at Rye Harbor State park. We're doing the whole reception thing there too, but even for an elope, it's tough to beat the ocean view. There is a small "love rock" there engraved with a saying about love that sort of provides an alter. You have the ocean, waves, and Isle of Shoals as your backdrop.

Saunders at Rye Harbor is directly across the harbor and has some awesome food and gorgeous patio/deck overlooking the harbor. The harbor is mostly lobster boats and trawlers so it definitely has that old new england feel to it...although not as much as some harbors in maine.

You might be risking it though with the weather in October. It'll be a little cold, but even colder or snowy in the mountains if you opt for outside. It could just as likely be 80 though so who knows on the coast.

We had our reception at The Stonehurst Manor. Our ceremony was up on Cathedral Ledge. Thank goodness the weather cooperated. Perfect for small weddings. Everyone loved the chicken stuffed with lobster.

fishn you are going to have to post atleast one of your wedding pics for all of us to see. I am still going to try to send you some So Cali sunshine on your special day. I am sure your wedding will be wonderful. When you are marrying the person of your dreams, I dont think it matters if you get married in a cave. You will just be so happy to start your life together as a married couple.

The pics are gorgeous btw.
