GF,
Thank you! I was able to find cheaper rates on 3rd party sites! Sad I have to go through numerous sites for a good rate rather than directly to the hotel site.

Thanks Again!

The basic rooms at Mill Falls are terrible & overpriced. I doubt the OP wants to be stuffed next to a broom-closet. Anything decent, like the OP is looking for, with a lake view, is going to run him over $300 per night at the MF complex. BN in Laconia directly overlooks the lake for about 80 $per night which seems to be what the OP wants.

As the original poster, the BASIC rooms with taxes, fees, ect are $300 per night at Mills Falls. I found it SLIGHTLY cheaper through a 3rd party site, but it got booked already. The other rooms are $300 to $500 per night. For a few hundred more, I'll go to Aruba!, lol.

Anyone have opinions about Lake Opechee Inn in Laconia? Fireside Inn in Gilford? Misty Harbor in Gilford?
They are in my price range $150-$225 +/- per night. They might be alittle out of the way, but I like to drive around & view NH

Brave, what is BN in Laconia?
I also saw the Wolfeboro Inn......A BASIC room was almost $300 per night with taxes & fees. But that place looks amazing with the tavern & restaurant.

I greatly appreciate ALL the advice here!
Thank You!

I think that is referring to Birch Knoll Motel, which he mentioned in his first post.

Those 3 places you mentioned are fine. It was Birch Knoll motel that I mentioned. Prices seem a little high in the area, but it's been a long time since I have used rooms up there.

As the original poster, I looked EVERY DAY for rates at Mills Falls Inn. I was able to book a room for $179 per night! Instead of $229
Yes, it is a basic room, but I'd almost spend that much for a BASIC Motel a few miles away.
At least I'm in the town.

Now, suggestions on Restaurants?

Thanks again!!! I will be heading up next week.
