With next weeks Federal Mandate of the onset of an early Day Light Saving Time I am truly disappointed with our early morning time getting Dark again. Now we will not have any daylight until say 7am or afterwards. Kinda Gloomy I think.

Just goes to show you how mindless and screwy our law makers have become! Just for the sake of making it appear that they are significant they have to stir up trouble making these silly mandates! What are your thoughts!

I think it will make a big difference in the afternoon and I'm looking forward to it...once we get past March 21st the sun rises so early that it's still up at 6 so it shouldn't be so bad.

I like more sun later in the day, so I always like the spring time change - if they're going to do the change at all, the earlier in the year the better for me I will say it messes with my "body clock", both in the spring and the fall. It takes me about a week to get used to either change and the dog and cat get royally screwed up especially with what time they eat!

I think its less gloomy than when the sun was setting at 3:30/4 in the afternoon in Nov/Dec! At least now I can sleep in without it shining in my room at 6:30 in the morn. I prefer the longer afternoon hours to the light morning hours personally..

I personally would rather have more daylight in November. My hubby and I just finally got daylight back for our morning commutes and now that will go away. Yes it will be nice to have more daylight at night but it is pretty light later now so I would have left the spring portion alone and add the extra time in November so we keep daylight longer then.

Dark mornings don't bother me much. I prefer the longer afternoons to get stuff done around the yard.

I don't do much before work other than shower, eat, and drive. I could care less if it's light out. There's lots of things I would love to do after work but can't when it's pitch black before I even leave. Bring on the time change!

My preference is more night, less day overall, although I probably prefer brighter mornings than evenings. The shortest days of the year are my favorite. I will take darkness anytime I can get it. Stars aren't visible during the day, and with regular migraines, sunlight is not so happy for me. Darker mornings will make it unimaginably tougher to crawl out of bed.

I agree with most of them members on this thread... I'd rather have more sun in the afternoon / evening so that I can go outside with my daughter to play or just a nice walk with the family . Who knows, this all may back fire and we might be back to the "old" days next year!
