I know it's all relative to each situation but I want to ask you guys your opinion on some raw land projects:

1. How much is it to bring electric on to a property if there is relatively easy access to the street? Thinking of bringing into a shed or garage.

2. How much is it to rough in a driveway about 200 feet in length and clear and area about 1/4 acre?

There are multiple power/electric companies depending on area. Usually the first pole is free. Then you have a monthly fee even if you don't use any electricity. If more poles are needed you pay per pole. At one time it was $1,500 +/- per pole (here) - but that was awhile ago.

If clearing land, if you have enough land, get a logger. Completely different than a tree cutter. Cost difference.
Some tree cutters charge (here) $125.00 per hour. Some have chippers. Others make burn piles. Some can get some money for the logs depending on type and location. Some towns charge a fee to cut trees down or clear cut land. Best to check around. We do have tree huggers here. Both conservative folks and liberal folks. They don't like to see trees cut down. Sometimes.

Driveway. All depends on what type of driveway one wants. And type of soil. One price I heard (here) was $1.25 per foot. A driveway can be a dirt path or a manufactured driveway with crushed stone base and gravel top.

Most/many/some towns require a driveway permit. Entryway/cutout has to be viewed for drainage purposes.

Fees apply in some areas.

There is no one answer that fits all situations.
