Once it goes into effect we can now have tinting on the windows to the right and left of the driver

Passed on 2021-08-16, this act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

70% on the front? That's not much tint at all. Better than nothing, I guess

The concern for darker tint is LEO visibility into the car during traffic stops, right?

So LE says, doesn't seem to be an issue in other states, maybe NH Leo's have poor vision?

Post Honestly, it's not like we get enough sun that the UV is going to damage the car interior or anything

One state trooper gets ambushed, and we all suffer for it.

Nice, thanks for the info. The left/right front window laws always seemed too restrictive.

Never really understood the fascination with tint up here. In the south-sure. IMO, it can be annoying when you can't see what the other driver is doing-read as talking with both hands, shoveling french fries into their mouth, and texting at the same time. Gives me a good idea that I want to pass them really fast or hang waaaay back.

but-hey new opportunities for tint shops in NH. They are all over the place in some other states.

I can totally understand the need for tint in NH. Those two days a month the sun comes out can be brutal.

The tint is probably more useful for cutting down on snow glare for 6 months/year.

That doesn't even make a good joke. Where did you get the idea that NH isn't sunny?

You mean besides the record amount of rain we got this summer? That didn't happen when the sun was shining.
