That West Chesterfield estate property is now listed as "pending." The Dublin estate took a long time to sell (if it indeed has) and the W. Chesterfield property sold pretty fast. New Hampshire's housing market continues hot. Whenever my NH housing research comes up with a house that really interests me, it's under contract (or pending or contingent) before I can travel up to see it.

Whoever is buying the W. Chesterfield estate must be paying cash as jumbo mortgages are usually variable rate and of short duration.

More recently, it was owned by Dan Brown, author of The Divinci Code, Inferno, etc. This property of 48 acres includes an impressive 6-bedroom, 9500 s/f home, multiple out buildings, including the 4000 s/f 12-stall barn & the 3000 s/f caretaker's residence. Or someone could just purchase the barn & caretaker's residence for just over 5 mil. This property is just 1/2 mile from the ocean. I was lucky to have attended an equestrian event here several years ago - those beautiful horses live better lives than many humans...

Wow that is an impressive home. Likely the author or the paper were influenced by advertising to write the article of the "most expensive home in NH"

Nice place. A touch too "museumy" to me.

I wonder if they get greenheads due to the proximity of the water.

That Dublin estate property's listing now reads "active." The buyer must have backed out of the contract.

That is an awful exterior........looks like bad paneling from the 70's

Interior is better but after seeing the pics I wouldn't even go look at that house.
