Okay, I admit it....I'm totally confused! Hopefully someone here can explain something to me - I've read and heard a lot about "warrants" to be voted on....can someone tell me what a "warrant" is? Where we're from a warrant is something the police issue to arrest someone!

If my question makes absolutely no sense, then I'm obviously more confused than I thought I was, so please set me straight!

Thanks!

Well you are partly correct. But now you live in New England. LOL a warrant is a document put out by the board of selectmen to let ppl know of a comming town meeting. It usually list the agenda ect. It will give you more info if you google NEW ENGLAND town meetings I think. if not try warrant artical. 1 of those should give you more info.

I will google those terms - thank you! We are trying very hard to understand how the towns are governed and "work".....we're pretty impressed by how things are done here in NH - there seems to be a lot more input from the townspeople, which is great! Now we just need to get a handle on the terminology so we truly can understand the process.....we're gettin' there, slowly but surely, and I will google those terms and see if that helps...Thanks again!
