Reality...very few Forelclosures..short sales which affect the rental market..Yea Beford is lovely but check rentals and housing to buy very expensive...........the realtiy about schools...you send your child to school and my best advice get them tutors so they will be able to advance to their pace of optimal performance
I know exactly what you are looking for. I used to live in NH and now in Maine. NH is a conservative state with an active political system. 600K will buy whatever house you want in northern New England. I think you would really like Portland Maine. It has a huge Whole Foods Market, similar to the one on Emeril Green on the Planet Green channel. Is a beautiful town, peaceful and many walking areas. You might even want to live on one the the Islands in the harbor.
There are tons of activities for kids, there is a town pool, new playground, skateboard park, tennis courts. If you go onto the Bedford rec. dept. website you will see all the activities available. Swimming, soccer, softball, baseball, football, cheerleading, basketball, etc.
