Hi Buck
We have them for most of the winter as well (not every day, but many) and this is the 2nd year in a row that my bluebirds haven't left for the winter. What's up with that?? It's a blaze of color outside my windows with the cardinals, the bluebirds, the robins and waxwings (which I've heard are pretty easy to hand feed--any idea?) The gang of birds has been eating a lot of oranges, black sunflower seeds, etc. And tomorrow I think I'll go get them a real treat--some meal worms
They stripped the last of the holly berries off the 2 bushes I have in my yard, so got to do something to continue the show around here! I'm looking forward to spring when the yellow finches come back for their thistle seeds, and all the other seeds that they pilfer from my garden...

some of the robins don't actually leave for winter - they are just deeper in the woods - I see them all winter long
