you have to be careful about visiting waterville valley, lincoln, woodstock. I lived in Massachusetts went there for a vacation and never moved back .. been 11 years now. all because of a cup of coffee overlooking town square in waterville watching horse drawn sleigh rides and cross country skiers ski through the square, it's scenery and feel was too much to leave.

How old are the kids? If 11 and under, then Storyland in Glen NH is a must...

IF.....

you stay at the woodstock inn, or eat at the Woodstock Station, you will never want to leave.
We stayed here on our honeymoon 16 years ago, and have never vacationed anywhere else but NH since.....in fact we just bought a home here in Feb.

storyland is good but santa's village I believe in Jefferson is even better
