No NH doesn't have deposits. In non deposit states they pay per a Ibs. for AL only. Of course if want, Mass is only 20 some miles away, and they will pay the .05 a container at the expense of Mass taxpayers.

What's an Ibs?

Ahhh if only it were so easy to get something for nothing... Mass retailers will only give you the .05 deposit return on bottles that are labeled as being returnable. However, the state of Maine requires deposits not only on beer & soda, but also water and juice products. Hence, their Poland Springs bottles can be 'returned' for .05 each if you feel like driving to Maine.

And Ibs = pounds (lbs). I'm not sure how many cans it would take to make a pound of aluminum. Or how much a pound is worth... probably a good bet that it's not worth a nickle a can!
