I live in New London. The reason Dartmouth Coach only discharges in New London going northbound is they don't wish to be obligated to get off the highway if there are no passengers to drop. If it helps, they may be willing to take you from Hanover or Lebanon to New London if you call their office, (or drop in at their Lebanon station) and talk with the General Manager, David Fox, though as others have said, it's not their policy.

The ride share idea is worth pursuing. My wife works in Hanover but can't carpool because her work schedule can be irregular. Try Craigslist, Dartmouth College, or the Kearsarge Shopper, a weekly ad paper that gets mailed every Wednesday to every mailbox in about 10 area towns. Ads cost $20 or so, but it is very widely read around these parts.

HTH

What route are you taking? My spouse thinks it's more like 35-40 mins, the times he's done it (not many so far)

My wife's travel time from our house in New London, (3 minutes to I-89, Exit 12) to downtown Hanover is 35 minutes during rush hour, about 30 otherwise.

Thanks, Mark. Dartmouth Coach is on Facebook and I asked them about going from NL to Leb/Hanover. They said that passengers can board in NL if the bus pulls into the park-and-ride lot to discharge a passenger coming from the south. It costs $10, payable in Lebanon. But one could be waiting at the park-and-ride and never have the bus stop, so this seems iffy at best....

My husband may look into ride-sharing. I asked the question more for me, just wanting a lift to Hanover during the day every now and then.

Thanks all.
