covered bridges and white clap board churches, so how about a little mountain hike instead?

We took a hike up West Rattlesnake in Holderness today.

2010 pics :: SDC10809.flv video by CrazyDave - Photobucket

Rattlesnake West is about 1120 feet in elevation, the trails goes through old forrest opening up to bare granite over looking Squam lake. The pics and the vids do no justice at all, it was well worth he easy trek up the well maintained trails. As you reach the top there is a split in the trail, take the right first and you will be rewarded with the more secluded cliff side, to the left is where the main attraction {the panoramic view ) is.

This little critter was more curious then scared

It was a beautiful day, topped off by a great meal at Crazy Gringos

Beautiful pics, I love that area. Isn't W. Rattlesnake in Sandwich or Center Sandwich? Or does it go from Sandwich to Holderness?

Hey Dave; Those are really good pictures. You should look into selling them for some extra income. Adventures with the Kawasaurus continue.

Nice Dave. My new bride and I made that hike on our honeymoon 6 years ago. That walk, and that view were part of our decision to move here.
