The Show Jersey Shore is not primarily filmed in Seaside Heights (even though the name is used).....it's filmed in Asbury Park, NJ......and the cast is from New York and not New Jersey. Actually the cast was not welcomed back to the Jersey area according to the Borough of New Jersey. A filming permit was not granted to them for the next season, which is why the cast filmed in Italy.

Conspiracy theories hit the Jersey Shore! The show is filmed primarily at their house IN Seaside Heights and at Karma also located IN Seaside Heights! What scenes/locations are you claiming are shot in Asbury Park?!?!?
