From what I know from 10 years ago, Ch East tended to have a number of the snobby rich parent somewhat spoiled kids. Kids that don't help dad to mow the lawn, because kids parents get their lawn taken care of by outside help. Just one example. Esp. those that live on the border between Voorhees and Ch East near Evesham Rd. or right by the school.

Those that grew up in Old Orchard or the older developments (nearer to 70) or Brace Rd. but still on the east side, tended to be more like resident students from the west side, or those living in other towns like Evesham. But those kids worked hard and were smart as well, and got into great colleges.

I graduated from west in '96 and doing well. My HS friends are docs and lawyers. I hear that East HS is better. The difference is probably minor, like 98% vs 99% go to college after graduation. If your kid is top 10% its not a problem.

I'll agree with most other people and say that both are great schools, although East may be just a bit better (and as others have said, snobbier).
