I'm buying a home in Cherry Hill...it's a single family rancher with no below the ground basement. Should I get a Radon test? How much will it cost? Does the area have high Radon numbers?

Thanks for any info!!

Always get a radon test. Every home is different, the measurements can vary home to home in any area.

Cost? Negligible. Included with my home inspection which was about $500

Correct. If you are getting a mortgage they will require a home inspection and this is standard for all purchases(I think) We bought this current place 9 years ago and they did it. The other houses before all were done too. It is nothing in costs to the big picture. Plus you want to know what it is. If it is a problem you can get the seller to pay for radon abatement if needed.
