Looking on Zillow I see several properties in Weehawken for which Zillow shows the school district as "Union City School District". Is this possible? I.e. you buy a property that is in Weehawken geographically but kids living in that address would have to go to Union City schools?

Would appreciate thoughts from people more familiar with how this works....
Should not be possible. Either the school district listed is incorrect, or the houses are not actually in Weehawken.

Thanks for the reply! You are right. Basically what was going on here is that some building in Weehawken is being rented by the Union City school district while their own school building is being constructed. So Zillow stupidly shows the Weehawken houses close to that Union City school as being zoned for that school, which they are not, as the school is for folks living in Union City (even though the school is physically in Weehawken in a building they are renting from Weehawken).

Thanks for the help!!! Live long and prosper! :-)

Thanks,
