so, i'm trying to get some advice on my personal income taxes. does anyone know of a person in NJ that gives advice on personal strategies for someone who makes decent money, but isn't in the top brackets? i only ask because each year, my wife's company doesn't withhold enough, and i thought that now that we own a house, we'd be in the clear. we ended up owing a little. it's not a big deal, but if i could take some steps to reduce our tax liability legitimately, i'd love to do it, rather than just socking cash in savings.

also - i could just have the company withhold extra to get us closer to even come april 15th.
