So I was fired from my job back in the begining of Oct., and I filled for unemployment. Since I was terminated unjustly, I was awarded unemployment benefits.

I started filling either online or I'd call the NJ # and file that way. I have filled for a month or so now and have recieved my funds in my account.

Last night i went online to the unemployment website to try to add my direct deposit information on the njuifile.net website and I couldnt remeber my password and it said i locked out my account and that i now made it innactive and i had to call the office during normal hours to have a represenative help me with it.

So the following morning (Sunday) I went online to claim my weekly benefits like I do every Sunday, and after answering all the questions I got the message " Your claim is not payable at this time." Then it showed all my claim information.

I am VERY scared that something has happened. Is it possible that when I tried to get into my account the previos night and locked myself out, that that is what is holding things up?

Or has my employer NOW decided to fight it after I have already been recieving benefits for weeks?

Can ANYONE shed some light on this for me?

-Thank you

Yes, I think you shut your self off through the web site. You will be fine once you call in. Good luck.

So, apprently I missed an appt at the one-stop career center last week and a hold was placed on my account. I honestly did not get any communication of this appt. I let the rep know that I have every letter from the state, plus a spreadsheet of all the dates, times, people and contact 3's of who i spoke to and I have no record of an appt.

everyone was pretty helpful and they did reschedule the appt and put a message in the system that my appt has been rescheduled. Just waiting to here back from the claims specialist now to see if they can release hold since I am rescheduled.

caught in "the system" today I guess. =/
